Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay Resort offers ice fishing houses of varying size to fit your group’s needs. During the ice fishing season we maintain well marked roads to our fish houses. All of our ice fishing house rentals include rattle reels, gas heat, gas cooktop and oven, gas lights, table and chairs, four padded bunks, inside bathroom and are generator ready. In addition, there is a bath house available on shore with showers and a heated floor. Microwaves, TV's, Flashers and underwater camera's are also available for rent. We also offer Guide Service that can be tailored to fit your most everyone's needs.

Using Technology to Place the Houses

We use the new Garmin H20 GPS that has the Mille Lacs Lake software loaded on it. We place all fish houses on the best structure possible. NO GUESSING!!! We move the houses as needed to give you the best chance possible in catching walleye, northern pike and perch.

Ice House Improvements

Our houses have many new ovens that have been added to the deluxe fish houses. Buy a pizza
from us or bring lasagna or a casserole from home! Either way, feel free to make use of the new kitchen equipment.
